We wanted to produce an exceptional product that was lightweight and super strong to protect against facial injuries during training and competition.  We incorporated some of the design technology and materials used in the demanding automotive industry in order to create this exciting new product. 

The line of sight and breathing were hugely important aspects of the design and the design again delivered.

Materials were selected for safety, strength, and rigidity while maintaining the light weight structure needed for use in a combat environment.

Innovative design means that the U-1 is suitable for use by juniors and adults.  We have limited it for use below 56cm head circumference and recommend that the minimum age of use is 12 years old.
